The General Manager's duties include ensuring effective restaurant operations, providing top quality food and beverages while maintaining strong cleanliness standards, building and training your team, reviewing financial information and ensuring guest satisfaction. The goal of Protein Bar & Kitchen is to identify and exceed objectives in driving sales, maintaining food and labor costs, developing your team, running a great restaurant and serving our customers.

  • A High School diploma; college degree is a plus
  • At least 2 years of experience in restaurant supervision or management; fast casual restaurant experience is ideal
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Clear and professional demeanor
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize with efficiency
  • Initiative, drive and a self-starting work ethic
  • Detail oriented, efficient, and organized
  • Strong guest service and hospitality skills
  • Experience with POS systems, Compeat accounting platform preferred
  • Experience ordering food and beverage
  • Passion for nutrition and active lifestyle a major plus
  • Essential Physical Functions
  • Ability to work up to 50 hours per week
  • Ability to stand/walk 8-10 hours per shift
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Required to frequently reach, bend, stoop, and carry
  • Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments; indoors and outdoors
  • Must be able to tolerate potential exposure to allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
