Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clinical Molecular Laboratory
Director - Hereditary Cancer.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the genomics laboratory, including
sample preparation and data analysis
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and laboratory safety
protocols
Lead and manage a team of scientists and technicians while
fostering a collaborative culture
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Genomics, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or a related field;
M.D./Ph.D. preferred
5+ years of experience in genomics research and laboratory
management
In-depth knowledge of genomic sequencing technologies and
bioinformatics
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, including CLIA and
CAP accreditation
Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is
a plus
