TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Olympia Fields, Illinois, 60461 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Department Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC required; PALS preferred Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Must pass EKG exam Job Description: - Provide exceptional care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting - Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient care - Perform procedures such as chest tubes, central line/arterial line placement, and sedation - Conduct rapid infusion, wound care, and targeted temperature management - Utilize Philips monitors and EPIC EMR system for patient documentation - Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1, occasionally 5:1 during critical situations - Adhere to dress code: Navy scrubs, no fake nails, hair must be secured - Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and the ability to work well under stress - Possess strong communication skills with providers, coworkers, and leadership - Engage in continuous learning and adapt to new technologies and equipment Join a dedicated team that is recognized for its outstanding performance and positive work environment.
