Job Description:
A company is looking for a Certified Professional Coder II to
analyze and resolve coding-related claim denials.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze coding and denial information to identify issues causing
unpaid claims
Create detailed appeal letters to support payment of denied
claims
Review and verify diagnosis codes against medical records for
reimbursement accuracy
Required Qualifications:
Certified Professional Coder certification (CPC and CIC)
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a hospital, payer, or customer
service role
Inpatient coding experience with DRG knowledge
Outpatient coding experience with ICD-10, HCPC, and CPT codes
Preferred experience with healthcare insurance billing and/or
coding software like TruCode or 3M
