Job Description:
A company is looking for a Payment Recovery Specialist to
perform A/R insurance follow-up on rejected and denied insurance
claims.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and physicians
regarding claims and EOBs
Work on denied or rejected claims daily and maintain follow-up
tasks with payers
Write effective appeal letters and claim reconsideration requests
to overturn denials
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma preferred
Experience in A/R insurance claims follow-up
Experience writing complex appeals
Working knowledge of practice management, EMR, and claims
clearinghouses
Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task effectively
